Audiofile DDP — Help
Professional DDP disc image playback and QC for macOS and iOS.
Getting Started
- Launch Audiofile DDP and choose File → Import DDP Image… (⌘O) to open a DDP fileset folder.
- The track list shows all tracks with their PQ metadata — start/end times, ISRC codes, and flags.
- Click any track to select it. Press Space to play.
- Use the waveform display to scrub within a track.
Features
- PQ Sheet Export — Generate a printable PQ sheet from any loaded disc image (⇧⌘P).
- Branded Bundles — Package a disc image with your studio branding for client delivery (⇧⌘E).
- Artist Profiles — Save artist info and cover art for reuse across projects. Manage in Settings → Artists.
- Analysis Panel — View track loudness and peak analysis.
- Library — All imported disc images are saved in your library for quick access.

Troubleshooting
- DDP won't import — Make sure you're selecting the folder that contains the DDP descriptor files (DDPID, DDPMS, image.dat, etc.), not a parent directory.
- No audio on playback — Check your system audio output in System Settings → Sound. DDP audio is 16-bit/44.1kHz Red Book CD audio.
- Tracks show incorrect times — This usually indicates a malformed PQ sheet in the DDP master. Verify the source DDP with your mastering engineer.
